We have a suite of remote sites that we connect to hourly using loggernet to connect through IP->NL100->Freewave. Recently (about 2 months now), following a battery change, we can no longer connect to one of the stations.
The station (CR10X) in question is connected to the freewave radio via a MD485. Currently, if I disconnect the radio and reconnect it the station will connect once, nearly immediately. After this it is impossible to connect to it.
While at this station I can connect through the MD485 to it and two others that are connected through MD485's via the RS-232 port that the radio uses to connect to them. I have been trying to troubleshoot this with weekly visits and have yet to have success.
Here are some things I've tried:
1. Replace the serial cable
2. Replace the null modem
3. Reboot the logger
4. Direct connect using freewave to logger with SC105
5. change the radio
I'm at a loss, any ideas for additional troubleshooting?
